The corridor that carries most of it: Interstate 20 at the FM 51 and Bankhead Drive interchanges.

Why Weatherford Crashes Happen Where They Do

Interstate 20 carries the west Texas traffic through Weatherford with heavy truck volume and interchanges at FM 51, Clear Lake Road and Bankhead Drive that serve both the city and the freight. US 180, Palo Pinto Street, runs through the middle of town to the courthouse square, which operates as a roundabout with angled parking off it. Drivers who don't know the square take the wrong lane out of it, and that produces a steady sideswipe count. Fort Worth Highway carries the older commute east toward Aledo and Willow Park.

Neighborhoods We Serve

What Weatherford Drivers Should Know

  • Your insurer can recommend a shop. It cannot require one. That right is in Texas Insurance Code 1952.301.
  • If the other driver caused it, their insurance pays for the repair.
  • On a small repair, paying yourself can cost less than a claim. Get the free estimate first, then decide.
  • Not-at-fault claims usually do not touch your rate. At-fault claims usually do, and that call belongs to your insurer, not to us.
