The corridor that carries most of it: FM 1378, Country Club Road, through the Estates Parkway and Lucas Road crossings.

Why Lucas Crashes Happen Where They Do

FM 1378, Country Club Road, is the only continuous north-south route through Lucas, and it carries Allen and Wylie commuters on two lanes with hills, curves and driveways. Estates Parkway and Lucas Road cross it at unsignalized intersections where sight distance over a rise is short. Brockdale Park Road runs out toward Lavon Lake and adds weekend traffic. The crash count is small because the population is, but the severity mix is closer to rural than suburban.

Neighborhoods We Serve

We take Lucas vehicles from Gentle Creek, Brockdale Park area, Heritage Trail, and everywhere in between. Drop the car at our Lewisville shop, or send us photos first and we'll tell you whether it's worth the trip.

What Lucas Drivers Should Know

  • Your insurer can recommend a shop. It cannot require one. That right is in Texas Insurance Code 1952.301.
  • If the other driver caused it, their insurance pays for the repair.
  • On a small repair, paying yourself can cost less than a claim. Get the free estimate first, then decide.
  • Not-at-fault claims usually do not touch your rate. At-fault claims usually do, and that call belongs to your insurer, not to us.
