Why Celina Crashes Happen Where They Do

Preston Road, State Highway 289, is the main artery and it shifts from a suburban arterial to a rural highway within Celina's limits. FM 455 crosses it at the town square and carries the east-west traffic toward Pilot Point and Weston. The county roads feeding the new subdivisions are still two lanes with no shoulders and open ditches, and they meet Preston at unsignalized T intersections. The crash count is modest, but the mix leans toward angle and run-off crashes at speeds that hurt.

Neighborhoods We Serve

What Celina Drivers Should Know

  • Your insurer can recommend a shop. It cannot require one. That right is in Texas Insurance Code 1952.301.
  • If the other driver caused it, their insurance pays for the repair.
  • On a small repair, paying yourself can cost less than a claim. Get the free estimate first, then decide.
  • Not-at-fault claims usually do not touch your rate. At-fault claims usually do, and that call belongs to your insurer, not to us.
